This is a quick and simple chunky headband that is made using slip stitch. I made this pattern for adults, but could easily be adapted for kids. I used some left over reclaimed yarn I had in my stash so I am not sure how much yardage you will need. 1/2 a skein or a little less will probably more than you need. Also there are a number of ways that you can decorate it, so get creative.
