Chunky Herringmesh cowl
This pattern is
available for free.
This pattern makes an easy and fast cowl in an attractive stitch. It is simple enough for beginners to make. I used Drops Andes yarn which is chunky - 50 g gives 48 metres. Other chunky yarns would probably work just as well, but the Andes is exceptionally soft and lovely to work with. It is 65% wool and 35% alpaca which means it is not itchy like some pure wool yarns can be - I’m very sensitive to itchy yarn!
The instructions are written up on my blog where there are other free patterns and guidelines for abbreviations used and a translation into U.S. Terms. Please feel free to use it, but please do not feel free to pass the pattern off as your own work.
