Inspired by “Irish Hiking Hat” this hat is done in thicker yarn and has written directions for 19 inch hat that is 7.5 inches from cast on to the top - there are extensive notes following the pattern for increasing or decreasing the length
and increasing or decreasing the size from the original 19 inches to 17 inches and 21 inches both with length changes too.

A cable needle is useful but not required
