I wrote this easy knitting pattern using a yarn that is no longer available in stores. You can still find it on Etsy, Ebay, and other places that sell discontinued yarn. The good news is that you can substitute the discontinued yarn for any super bulky yarn or just use 2 strands of any worsted weight yarn.

This hat makes an adorable photography prop. I attach the long braid so that it can easily be removed. This way, baby can wear the hat any time without risk of injury. Please remember that when you are using the long braided tail, strict supervision of baby is advised as there is the risk of strangulation.
