Chunky Loop Tote Bag
CHUNKY_LOOP_TOTE_BAG_
The Chunky Loop Tote Bag is worked from the bottom up. First, stitches for the bottom are cast on using Judy’s magic cast-on method. The bag is then worked in eyelet pattern in the round and finished at the top with an I-cord hem and straps.

Materials_
Option 1_
4 strands Misina (100% pure new wool – 50 g / 100 m) from Smuksak
Total quantity: 350 g (400 g if the bag is worked in 4 different colors).
The beige/lilac chunky_loop_tote_bag shown in the photo is made with 4 strands of Misina held together using the colors: Lilac – A4259, Caramel – 12975, Sunlight – A4252, and Golden Sand – 8530.
Option 2_
4 strands of leftover yarn, each 50 g / 100-115 m.
Total weight approx. 340 g / 88 g per strand (excluding gauge sample).
The yellow chunky_loop_tote_bag in the photo is made with 4 strands held together: 1 strand Tweed from Smuksak, color Banana (A4183), 1 strand Peruvian from Filcolana, color Marzipan (977), 1 strand Merinull from Sandnes, color Strandskal (Sea Shell) (2125), and the fourth strand a mixture of various pale-yellow leftover yarns.
Recommended Needles_
Circular needles size 6.5 mm / US 10.5 (60 cm / 24 inches and min. 120 cm / 48 inches).
Gauge_
13 sts x 20 rds of eyelet pattern on needle size 6.5 mm / US 10.5 = 10 x 10 cm / 4×4
