I have had a couple requests for the pattern of the baby cocoon I made a few years ago. I did not have a pattern, so I made another cocoon and wrote the pattern as I went.

This is a pattern for cocoon photo prop. It should only be used as a photo prop and a baby should never be left alone it.

The rectangle before seaming and adding the bottom should measure about 16” x 18”. Mine was 24 rows (16”) of 32 stitches (18”)

The cocoon uses about 2 skeins of Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick or Hometown USA depending on the yardage. The skeins I used had 92 yards each and I used all of both skeins.
