Each separate element of this pattern is simple to make, when they are combined they make an attractive scarf.

This is a quick make and requires a 6 mm hook and Aran weight yarn.

You could experiment with this simple pattern, making each section in a different colour, I decided to use 2 colours when designing this pattern and I used a sparkly yarn to make it look extra special.

The pattern is easily altered if you would like to make a shorter version of this scarf, you could also decrease the size of the hook. I used a heavier weighted yarn as I wanted it to look structured so the plait looks more distinctive.
