Chunky Ribbed Cowl
So here is the cowl I made. It was really quick and easy to do but decided to write it down in case I forgot what I did and wanted to make another one.
I used -
2 x 100g of Ice yarn - Alpine Apaca (but any super bulky yarn would do) I used less than half of the 2nd one.
15mm crochet hook
You can do this with any yarn but of course you’ll need to do more rows to get the width you want.
Hopefully this is a really easy pattern to follow - just remember that to get the ribbed effect it has to be done in rows, it cannot be done in the round.
Can make this in a night as it works up fast!
Written in US crochet terms*
All stitches are done in the back loop only (the loop furthest away from you instead of both loops) except the first and last stitch of each row which I go through both loops as I think it gives a neater edge
. As this cowl is done lengthways so if you want it narrower or wider just do less or more rows.
