This is the crochet pattern for my Sassenach Triskelion Chunky Crochet Scarf!

This is a super easy, super simple pattern to create a beautiful, knit-looking scarf! Add the fringe or don’t. Add a crocheted design or don’t. It’s a choose your own adventure pattern that walks you through how to do a half-double crochet and foundation half-double crochets.

I used balls of scrap yarn I had laying around the house and used about half a skein of red heart super saver for each color. If you choose one color, you may need a whole skien. If you decide to make it longer, plan accordingly. The base of the scarf is made with both strands together with a size 8mm hook and the design was made in black with a size 5mm hook.

The scarf is worked horizontally and can be tailored to whatever length you want. It’s a fun project that you can zone out and keep doing row after row while listening to your favorite audiobook. Or oogling your favorite Scotsmen.

I hope you enjoy!
