Thank you so much for checking out my chunky shark slippers! This intermediate-advanced level pattern is written in US terms and includes made-to-measure instructions for child-to-adult sizes. Adult sizes (foot length of 8 inches and up) use Bernat Blanket yarn (or an equivalent 6 weight) while child sizes (foot length between 4-8 inches) use Big Twist Baby Bear (or an equivalent 5 weight).

Size check for yarn types:
Due to differences in yarn weight and tension the following gauge check is the best way to determine if this pattern will work for your choice of materials/size.

• minimum size: ch 20, foot length must be equal to or over this length.
• maximum size: ch 33, foot length must be equal to or below this length.

If your size doesn’t fall within this range size up/down yarn weights or hooks size, accordingly.
