This hat is knitted in the round using chunky yarn. It is a quick weekend project. I have made the pom-pom in a single colour but it could equally be made using strands of all the colours in the hat. The chart details the fair Isle pattern and full written instructions are given for the pattern. The base colour takes one ball of yarn and the snowflake takes part of a ball.
