Construction
Worked top down and in the round. A folded rib neckline is followed by a circular yoke with short rows to lift the back of the neck. Sleeve increases are placed directly after the ruffle and then split from the body. Ruffle is added after the garment has been made.

Sizing
When choosing which size to knit it is best to go by the chest measurement if possible as all bodies are different, and the sizes are only a suggestion. Chest measurements are of the actual garment, recommended ease is + 5-10cm/2-4” at the chest. Designed to be the perfect length for tucking into high waisted jeans, you can always add length to the body. You may need more yarn than is recommended if you alter the suggested lengths.

Gauge & Yarn
It is always a good idea to gauge swatch to make sure your garment fits and you are happy with the fabric you’re creating. The Chunky Soufflé is knit at a slightly tighter gauge than is recommended for the suggested yarn so that the fabric is slightly stiffer and retains its shape. If not using the recommended yarn, try to go for a fibre blown style yarn so your garment isn’t too heavy. If using a solid yarn you may wish to place your ruffle higher as the extra weight may pull it down.
