This blanket is easy to knit and so cozy! A simple border surrounds a field of texture that also adds weight to this blanket (the sample shown came in at 3 pounds). Directions also help you read your stitches in the textured section, making it great for novice knitters.

The pattern comes with two options:

1. A larger stockinette border, with a crocheted edge to finish
2. A garter stitch border, with a smaller stockinette section

If choosing option 2, a crochet hook is not required.

If you would like a larger blanket, it’s very easy to add length, and there are also instructions for adding width. Note this will increase yardage required.
