Chyron
A chyron is a text or graphic overlay commonly found in the bottom portion of a video broadcast. A news broadcast might use a chyron to tell the viewers the name of the person on screen, while other broadcasts might use a chyron to show current stock prices or recent sport scores.
Our Chyron is a classic and luxurious pullover designed to be a cornerstone of your forever wardrobe. Everything about Chyron is just right. The garment’s vee neck, set-in sleeves, and optional waist shaping provide a tailored shape. Worked in a cashmere-blend yarn and graded for eight adult sizes with several inches of positive ease, this unisex pullover is equally comfortable worn next to the skin or over a button-down shirt. Chyron knits up quickly, and its soft fabric is strengthened by the knit’s medium-firm gauge that gives the delicate cashmere fibers a defense against wear and pilling. The hemmed openings display Chyron’s couture credentials and a pop of color that keeps the design fresh; even better, they are worked in a fingering-weight yarn to preserve the fitted lines of the garment. In short, Chyron is crafted to be a stylishly comfortable wardrobe staple you’ll reach for time and again.
Construction: Chyron is knit seamlessly in the round from the hem to the bust, with optional waist shaping at four points around the torso. The top is then worked flat and seamed at the shoulders using a three-needle bind off. The sleeves are worked in the round from the hem to the underarm, then flat, and seamed in. The vee-neck hem is picked up around the neck.
