Celebrate the beauty of nature with the Cicada Symphony hat! This unique design features larger-than-life cicadas encircling the hat, a celebration of these fascinating creatures. Beads create the eyes, and a bit of embroidery creates the wings. You might want to embroider 2024’s two brood numbers, to be extra scientific! We have videos to show you everything! (Note that this sale is for the pattern only, not the hat itself or the yarn.)

We used Noro yarns Malvinas in black, and Silk Garden in the classic Color 8. We also used red seed beads, size 5, and a bit of gold embroidery floss to make the wings stand out.
