Cable knitting stitches combine to create the stylish pyramid design. This little pyramides with fuchsia colour remind me of cyclamen flower. The name of the pattern is in Italian Ciclamini which means a lot of small Cyclamens which bloom also in winter time.

The hat is knitted in the round from the bottom up, with a double brim for extra warmth on cold winter days. This technique is fun and very fast to knit.

The pattern includes easy-to-follow full written instructions and a complete chart. It is for advanced beginner knitters but i think anyone can do it, if you need some help you can write me on chat or mail.

The hat fits an adult with a head circumference: of 52-58cm (20,5” - 22,5” ) Height: of 23cm (8.8”)

9 sts & 14 rows = 2” (5cm) in a cable pattern

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
YARN:
Cariaggi 100% extrafine merino wool
I used:(± 145g, 165m/ 180 yds) knitted with 3 threads
YARN SUGGESTIONS:
Any other 100% merino wool (LIght fingering, 0 : Lace) knitted with 3 threads
Any other 100% merino wool (Aran, 8Wpi, 4 : Medium) knitted with 1 thread
CIRCULAR NEEDLES:
16” (40 cm) / US 7 (4.5 mm) for the brim
OTHER MATERIALS:
CABLE NEEDLE
SMALLER SIZE OF CIRCULAR NEEDLE OR DPN NEEDLE for pick up sts. from cast-on
BLUNT TAPESTRY NEEDLE: for removing the jaw
ROW COUNTER FOR CIRCULAR KNITTING (or stitch marker)
