This pumpkin pattern has the basic instructions for a small knit pumpkin worked in the round. It also has notes included to make medium and large size pumpkins as well as using different weight yarns for endless options!

MATERIALS
US10 (6mm) circular knitting needles for Magic Loop or you can also complete this on DPN’s.
I used an Addi Rocket Short tip similar to circular needles for socks.
Worsted weight yarn, approximately 70 yards - sample used various skeins of yarn from my scrap bin
Cinnamon stick, sticks or your choice of stem for your pumpkin. I use sticks collected from the yard cut to 1 1/2” - 2”.
Darning needle, stitch marker
Scissors
Favorite cup of coffee or tea to enjoy while you relax!
Don’t forget that new show you wanted to catch up on.

GAUGE
4”x4” - 16 sts x 12 rows in stockinette stitch. Gauge is not overly important if you are working from a full skein. By making your tube longer you’ll just be making a larger pumpkin.
The overall measurements of the piece:
The tube will be 8” wide and 10” long when finished depending on your tension .

DIFFICULTY
This pattern is best suited for advanced beginner. Knowledge of knitting in the round is required.
