Notions: Stitch markers. tapestry needle, scissors, stitch holders or waste yarn, and approximately a yard of grosgrain or tapestry ribbon.

Notes: The button band for this cardigan is worked in stockinette and then reinforced with a grosgrain ribbon in order to keep the fabric from sagging under the weight of the buttons. If you choose not to use ribbon, please consider knitting the band in seed stitch to prevent curling.
