When working for two years at a treatment center for teenage girls, I saw the damage that bullying had left behind in these girl’s lives.

Being a counselor and watching the struggle and devastation that bullying leaves in its wake has made me determined to speak out against it. This pattern is dedicated to those girls who fought hard and pushed past it, and is in memory of the one who wasn’t able to.

For the first week of release proceeds will be donated to the peer mentor program at my old high school to aid in students helping other students.

This pattern is worked in the round, in a standard adult size.

Pattern calls for DK weight, and works up best in variegated or solid yarn.

Yarn: Dragon Hoard Yarn, 100% SW Merino Wool. (217 yards/ 100g), or any other DK weight to obtain correct gauge.

Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows over 4”/ 10 cm blocked stockinette.

Needles: Size 4/3.5mm 16” circular needles, and Size 6/4mm 16” circular needles and four DPN’s recommended (size 6), or needle required to get gauge.

Notions: Darning needle, stitch marker, scissors.
