From Elena Solier Jansà, the designer: “I designed this to be something comfy and cool to keep one cosy on an autumnal campfire evening.
The Cingles Vest will keep your heart warm and your arms free! It is an easy to wear layering piece. This design is clearly inspired by traditional Fair Isle knits.

I opted for a low contrast palette, inspired by an autumnal forest landscape: the mossy green vegetation melts with the earthy browns and are splashed by the grey blue sky and the white clouds; the sparks of the fire shine in the middle of this bucolic landscape.“

The vest is worked from the bottom-up entirely in the round, with steeks for the armholes and v-neck. Once the steeks are completed, stitches are picked up to finish the armholes and neckline with ribbing.
