Use this crochet pattern to make a crochet beanie hat using just half of a skein of yarn. This pattern is written to fit an average adult head.

This pattern is an advanced beginner level crochet pattern. The abbreviations/stitches used in this pattern include: ch, sl st, sk, BLO, SC, SC2Tog, HDC, HDC2Tog, Bobble and DCX. There is an explanation for special stitches.

This pattern requires approx. 165 yds. of Lion Brand Scarfie yarn (’Rust/Cameo’ pictured) for the adult size (not including pom pom) or a similar category 4 yarn. You will also need a 5.5mm crochet hook and an optional faux fur pom or pom pom maker.
