PATTERN NOTES
The swirl is worked in rounds with 3 balls of yarn, 2 cream and 1 warm brown. Create a 2nd bobbin/ball of yarn with
20 feet of cream.
Begin each round with same color as last stitch on previous round.
Stop after each round to untangle strands of yarn.
Chain-2 at beginning of round does not count as a stitch.
When instructed, attach next color with half double crochet by placing slip knot on hook, yarn over, then work half double crochet into slip knot. Place stitch marker in back bar of this stitch so it is easy to locate in round 2.
There will be 3 live stitches. A few stitches will be worked in each color in each round. When indicated to place stitch marker in live loop, remove hook from loop and place this loop on a stitch marker.
Yarn will be dropped and picked up later. Remove hook and place stitch marker on live loop, then pick up the next color to
be worked.
There will be unworked loops in rounds 2–6 which will be worked in the next rounds.
Round 7 will not work all the stitches but C1 will be worked on all C2 stitches.
