We can’t hear it tick, but our bodies have their own clocks, patterns that keep us alive through the regulation of hormones, sleep, temperature, and eating habits. Circadian Rhythm is the natural internal process which exists in almost all living things including animals, plants, even microbes. These physical, mental, and behavioral shifts are influenced by the cycle of day to night, awake to asleep, light to dark. My new shawl pattern is designed in collaboration with Wonderland Yarns and named for this miraculous dichotomy.

Circadian Rhythm explores interconnection through texture and color, finding harmony between the two and ultimately, a balance we all constantly seek. A symmetrical triangle shawl, knit from the top down, it features two contrasting colors and textures. One gradually fades as the other becomes more prominent. There are a ton of subtle details that make this really special, but the best part is that it’s completely reversible! The shawl looks identical on both the right and wrong sides!
