Circe

This cowl was designed for the 2020 Miss Babs Book Club Selection - Circe by Madeline Miller - and was exclusive to the Club until January 2021.

Water, Plants, Journeys, and Transformations play major parts in the narrative… the Circe Cowl attempts to capture these themes with stitch patterning gradually morphing from leaves to waves and back again in a continuous journey. Small changes to the main stitch create a visual textural transition yet it retains its underlying structure and movement.

Intermediate Skill = k, p, k2tog, ssk, m1L & R (k & p), yo

Chart reading highly recommended, but written instructions (line by line abbreviated) also provided.

Constructed short-ways from a provisional CO and joined with either Grafting (knowledge of creating both k & p required) or 3 Needle BO.
