I have not seen a square like this one, so I hope many will find the pattern interesting and fun to crochet.

The size becomes larger than 9,4 inches if you use a hook larger than 2,5 mm and thread thicker than 8/4 cotton. Keep that in mind! That throw will be made in a jiffy ;-)

Every time I say the pattern name I hear “Circle of life” from Lion King made by Disney. Just a tad bit Disney damaged I suppose.

The idea for the square came to me when I was remembering the snowflakes I made last fall, they had hearts on the tips and was gorgeous and I started pondering if there was a way to incorporate them into a granny square and there was, obviously.
