Easy Crochet hat Pattern for beginners!

The pattern is worked top down which will give you the opportunity to fit it as you crochet along.
When you finish the last round of increases, you can put your hat on and check if it fits.

Using only one stitch makes this pattern easy to crochet for beginners. If you know how to crochet a HDC stitch I added a photo tutorial how to spot your third loop.

The pattern also comes in 4 different sizes:
toddler (1-3 years old)
child (3-10 years old)
teen/small adult
large adult/ men

The perfect hat size for your whole family.
Using super bulky/chunky weight makes this hat not suitable for babies. I recommend you to use thinner yarn and adjust the pattern as you go.

If you don;t have super chunky/bulky weight yarn you can use either chunky yarn held double or just use chunky yarn. But if you use chunky yarn with 10mm crochet hook, your hat will turn out one size smaller.
For example, size child worked with chunky yarn fits toddler!
