Circles of Joy Doily
The most important thing for me as a designer is that you have fun while crocheting, that you enjoy yourself, and that you are able to finish your new item. This is the motivation for the Circles of Joy Doily.
The Circles of Joy Doily is an easy, new beginner friendly pattern with a nice repetition of stitches, and will be done in no time!
You can choose to make the doily in a solid colour or you can use different colours. I made a colour striped version using 3 colors, changing colour after 5 rounds.
Feel free to do what you want. Choose any colours that make you happy!
I’ve used Organic Cotton (50g/165m) from Krea De Luxe and hook size 3.5 mm. Other alternatives are Pima Cotton fro CaMaRose or Catona from Scheepjes. I have used a silver yarn for the border. It’s called Lamé (25g/175m) from Madeira Garne.
The doily measures 35,5 cm/14 inches. I have used 45g of yarn.
Note that you can use any kind of cotton, linen, bamboo yarn you like in similar weight. If you choose a thicker yarn, your doily will be larger. It’s also perfect for scrapyarn!
I hope you enjoy the pattern!
Love, Camilla xx
