The Circo Bag is a fully lined drawstring pouch, with stranded colorwork details! The pattern includes instructions for 2 sizes, an optional wrist strap, and can be knit in a single color as well. This design is perfect for using mini skeins, and partial skeins of yarn, and invites creativity and play with color combinations!

YARN
Fingering Weight yarn is suggested for this pattern. However, up to DK Weight can work well too. Thicker yarn will create a more structured bag, and thinner yarn a more drapey bag

YARDAGE
The pattern offers two sizes - Size 1 is a mini bag, and Size 2 is the larger bag. Yardage is approximate, and based on Fingering Weight yarn. Changes to yarn weight may affect the total yardage needed. Swatch yardage is not included

approx. grams by size - ( 40, 120 )
approx. yards by size - ( 160, 480 )
approx. meters by size - ( 146, 439 )

NEEDLES
3.5mm / US 4 Circular Needles or DPNs
(or size needed to meet gauge)

NOTIONS
BOR marker
Scrap yarn or second set of needles
Tapestry needle, for weaving ends
Safety pin, for threading drawstring

GAUGE
Most accurately calculated with a swatch knit in the round, in stranded colorwork, which has been wet blocked. If you have yarn to spare, I would not stress too much over achieving perfect gauge, as this pattern is very forgiving

The colorwork pattern for this bag is a very simple 2 x 2 stitch, as follows
k2 in Color 1, k2 in Color 2

32 stitches x 32 rows = 4 x 4in / 10 x 10cm
