The sister-pattern to Trajectory…

This lightweight and lacy cowl re-imagines the forward directional flow of the Trajectory scarflette into a whirlpool of color. It’s designed especially for the Ombre&Gradient Mix mini-skeins from the SpaceCadet’s Mini-Skein Club, where subscribers receive bundles of gradient mini-skeins that transition from one month’s colors into the next month’s colors (and into the next’s…) to create a Never Ending Gradient. And because every month’s bundle is dyed so the last mini-skein links back to the first, each bundle’s gradient actually works back into itself in a circular flow so that the gradient can Start Anywhere.

The Circulate pattern transitions through colors 1-5 of one month’s bundle and, once seamed, becomes a circle that allows the colors to swirl in an endless loop. It works because every bundle of SpaceCadet’s Ombre&Gradient Mix mini skeins are designed so that color 5 links back to color 1, allowing the gradient to start anywhere and flow back into itself.
