This pattern is for a snood/cowl with a crossed loop cable pattern. Measurements of the finished snood using yarn and needles described below are: 26cm long and 23.5cm high (measured across one side only).

You can use alternative yarn and a rough gauge (using the pattern st count/1 pattern repeat) is given below. As it is a snood you can use yarn that may cause it to turn out slightly larger or slightly smaller as long as the finished product still fits over your head!

Gauge measurement (for 20 st +16 rows): 14cm x 8.5cm

Recommended supplies:
1 skein The Petite Wool by We Are Knitters (or similar)
1 pair 6mm circular needles (40 or 60cm length ideally)
Stitch marker
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
