Cirrus Shawl
A long, shallow crescent crochet shawl using contrasting yarns with gorgeous texture to showcase super simple stitches.
The inspiration behind this gossamer-light design is Yarnison’s Cloudy Nora shawl, a knitted crescent using boucle and mohair yarn.
Included is a written pattern, charts and a table of stitch counts.
You Will Need:
Mamie & Florrie Boucle, Afflecks (Yarn A), 100% merino, 100g/220m/240yds
Mamie & Florrie Silk Mohair, lace weight, Llanberis Pass Stone Path (Yarn B), 72% kid mohair, 28% silk, 50g/400m/437yds
5mm hook (US H/8).
2 stitch markers to mark the ends of row.
Blocking wires - optional but useful for creating a smooth edge on the crescent.
Abbreviations - UK terms
Note, while this pattern is written in UK terms the US terms are included in brackets and there are universal charts. The main stitch used is a US single crochet.

Tension isn’t essential in this pattern but will affect the amount of yarn used.
