Citaco
Pattern #6 from the Knit Pickin’ Hats Collection
Citaco (aka “citigo” or “Down to the Wildwood to Shoot the Buffalo”) is an Old Time fiddle tune played in the GDAD or AEAE tuning on the violin. Citaco is an area northeast of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The pattern directs you to go up in needles size after the cabled ribbing. This will produce a relaxed fit top as shown in the photos. If you want something more fitted you may continue with the smaller cast on needles.
