A friend has Citroën 2cv, ’rättisitikka’ as we say in Finland. She was dreaming of pair of socks to wear while cruising in it, so I made her pair of socks to go with the theme.

Socks are planned to be easily modified to different sizes for these cars are loved by all no matter gender, nationality or shoe size. For bigger feet might be necessary to choose yarn that gives bit looser gauge, like 24s per 10cm. Also both main and contrast colours can be changed, my colours were chosen based on friends car and favourite colour.

What comes to yarn needed, two skeins of main colour and one skeins of contrast colour gives you plenty of room, even knitting size 45. For size 38 or smaller 1 skein of each colour should be enough.
