This Pattern uses stitched of varying lengths and worked into the front and back loops for a lovely textured finish. This does need some basic maths and there are lots of tables and explanations to help you. They are there so that you can tailor the pattern to fit the person you are creating for.

The yardage shown is from 28 inches chest/bust up to 5X. With a little preparation this sweater can be created to fit any body shape.

The gauge swatch asks you to measure at two points while you are making it. The reason is because the varying lengths of stitches create an uneven working edge and the length can vary depending on where you measure it from, so it is just to keep you on track.

You will need the 4 hook sizes and a bodkin to seam at the end. The yarn used should be WPI 12.

The skein I used was 381 yards and for the ribbing for a 42 inches chest/waist I didn’t use an entire skein for the ribbing. For most sizes 1 skein is going to be enough for the ribbing in a contrasting colour for most sizes, but as you get into the larger sizes you may need to use 2 skeins.
