City Girl and Urban Cowboy Jackets in Big Cotton
Urban Cowboy and City Girl Jackets
Say howdy to our Urban Cowboy Jacket, now available in Big Cotton, 100% unmercerized cotton. This warm-weather spin on our Merino No. 5 project of the same name is a fun and flashy way to complete any look. It’s perfect to pair with cowboy boots, adds just the right amount of flare to a casual outfit, and is guaranteed to keep you cozy as the seasons change.
If you’re not a fan of fringe, don’t fret! City Girl is the same as Urban Cowboy, just without the final touch of fringe. A more subtle alternative to its cowboy counterpart, this version of the garment —with its fantastic textural variance on full display— is an instant spring staple.

The only difference between City Girl & Urban Cowboy is the fringe which is added at the end. This jacket is a drop shoulder style. The back is worked flat, then it is split into 2 front panels and each panel is also worked flat. Stitches for sleeves are picked up and worked in the round to the cuff. Fringe for Urban Cowboy Jacket is attached after the garment is fully knitted.
