City Girl/Country Girl Scarf
Skill Level
Perfect for a newish knitter.
There are 2 sizes of scarf in this pattern.
One is a slightly narrow and short scarf which is not too bulky and is suitable for wearing under at sleek city coat… the other is wider and longer and designed to keep a country girls neck warm during the long country winters of Upstate New York.
You have a choice of either Double Seed Stitch or Chevron Stitch. Both are a simple combination of knit and purl, and both stitch patterns are charted as well as written out.
And both stitch patterns are reversible so the scarf looks the same on both sides.
