City of Light Dishcloth
This month (February 2024) in the Year of Dishcloths Pattern Club, we are visiting Paris, France - one of my most favourite places in the world! It seemed only fitting to choose such a beautifully romantic city for February. Paris is known as the City of Light, which is also fitting as we start to emerge from the dark days of winter in the northern hemisphere.
The City of Light Dishcloth is a beautiful lace design that is simple to knit. This design is also one where I think the back is as pretty as the front! I knit mine with Estelle Sudz Cotton in this pretty blush colour. You’ll need 1-50 g ball of worsted weight yarn and US 3/3.25 mm needles to knit the dishcloth.
Although this design is a simple one, you’ll want to be mindful of the YO after a purl stitch so you don’t end up with too few or too many stitches!
