A stylish tote in felt, this roomy bag has an oval bottom, flared sides and a tab closure. It knit in the round from the base up in a single piece, then felted in either a washing machine or dryer. Comprehensive instructions are provided for knitting, felting and shaping the bag.
MATERIALS
Yarn: 4 skeins Kraemer Mauch Chunky; Color: Butterscotch; 460 yds.
Needles: Size US 10.5 circular needles, Size US 10.5 double pointed needles (or size to meet gauge) to work in the round
Notions: Scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers, large toggle (elk antler toggle is used in the sample) or button, sewing needles, transparent thread, fiberfill for shaping
