The City Windows Cowl came about because when MollyGirl Yarn, Yarn Over New York and Woolyn all decided to combine booths for Vogue Knitting Live NYC 2019 we knew we needed to make a kit with a new original pattern and their yarns to celebrate the occasion.

We’ve long thought that the two exclusive store colors from MG and YONY would go fantastically together and the pairing of No Sleep Til Brooklyn and Greetings from Gowanus exceeded even our expectations! And because one cowl just isn’t enough, City Windows comes in three different sizes and styles, all employing a simple slip stitch pattern combined with garter stitch to evoke tall city buildings with long columns and rows of identical windows.

The cowl is perfectly suited for adventurous beginning knitters, and would work great in any two highly contrasting colors, especially a variegated combined with a tonal or kettle dyed shade.
