The Claire Shawl is very easy and beginner friendly. This pattern is part of my Vintage Crochet Series, and is very typical of an 18th century wrap/shawl, as could be found in the Scottish Highlands.

For this project you will need:
3 skeins of Stylecraft Special Aran in shade Sage (you can substitute with Paintbox Simply Aran yarn, or any Aran weight 4 yarn)
1 skein of Stylecraft Special Aran in shade Black (which you can also substitute with Paintbox Simply Aran)
6 mm crochet hook
Pair of scissors
Tapestry needle
