This capelet was inspired by one worn by Claire in Outlander. It was designed to fit American Girl mini dolls and Hitty dolls, but will fit other similarly sized dolls.

It is knitted in one piece with no seams starting with the collar.

Any fingering weight yarn should work just fine. I used Knitpicks Palette on my red version. You can also combine two strands of a lace weight yarn like I did for two of my versions. I used Pretty Punch yarn in two similar colors to give the capelet a marled look.
