Gauge: 6 sts and 8.5 rows / inch on size 3 (3.25 mm) needles

stitch holder or large safety pin
darning needle to sew ends in
crochet hook (4 mm) for optional sleeve string
50 (60, 70, 80) yds main colour, worsted weight
approximately 20 yds each of secondary colours
