Clara is a sweet little princess just waiting to be made for the right little girl or boy. Made with soft 100% cotton, she stands about 10 inches tall and makes a great companion or a sweet accent to a child’s room décor. There are no complicated stitches, however a familiarity with toy construction or willingness to learn is required. Under those conditions the pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner.

As with most toys, the yarns listed are merely a suggestion and you can easily substitute your favourite yarn or use what’s available in your stash. Just remember to adjust the hook size if necessary and that your finished toy may be a different size depending on your substitution(s).

The facial features may be done with safety eyes and noses, embroidery, or a combination of both.

NOTE: The Debbie Bliss Cotton DK is heavier than most DK yarns. If you substitute a different yarn a worsted weight might be best. Using another DK yarn may result in a smaller toy, using worsted weight may result in a slightly larger toy. Also remember to adjust your hook accordingly if necessary.
