Clara Friis Collar
Clara Friis Collar is a cozy and chunky neck warmer, suitable for both men and women. It is worked from the top down, both flat and in the round, and with 2 strands of Merino + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair held together throughout.
You start working the ribbed turtleneck in the round, then you increase for shoulders and shape with German short rows. Afterwards, front and back are finished separately working back and forth. Ribbed edges finish both front and back. For a marled version, use 2 strands of Merino in 2 different colorways + 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair.
The collar is a unisex design and comes in 2 sizes. The main difference between the two is the width – size 1 is narrower so will often give a better fit for women, while size 2 is wider and therefore often fits men better.
