Description
The hat is worked from the bottom up in brioche stitch. You can find a description of brioche stitch in the round in the technique section on the last page. The hat is worked on circular needles (40 cm) until the decreases where you can change to double pointed needles or use the magic loop technique when the need arises.

Gauge (brioche stitch in the round):
Before wash: 21 sts x 30 knit rows = 10 x 10 cm
After wash: 20 sts x 27 knit rows = 10 x 10 cm

Reg. suggested yarn: I’ve also knitted the hat in one strand of Organic Soft Merino together with one strand of Organic Brushed Alpaca from KAOS YARN, and several of my test knitters skipped the effect yarn and used two strands of mohair instead of just one together with the one strand of Sunday.
