The Classic Baby Blanket is the perfect gift for any baby or expectant mother. You can add a colored ribbon for a pop of contrast, or exclude the ribbon altogether and still have a beautiful blanket.

For this blanket, I’d recommend using Red Heart Soft, but any worsted weight yarn will work. You can also try it in a different sized yarn, but it will change the size of the finished blanket, and possibly the texture.
