Seamless top down construction makes this masculine crew neck striped sweater a dream to make. The stitch used is half double crochet in the back bar - a very simple variation of the half double crochet stitch that provides a fabulous knit look. This is not Tunisian and it’s not knit, just regular old crochet (pinky swear!). Pattern provides instructions for 5 sizes from infant to 6 years old.

This pattern is written in standard U.S. crochet terms for the beginner crocheter who is comfortable with color changes and increasing.

Sample made using Cascade 220 Superwash Sport in Silver Grey with Summer Sky Heather stripes and an H hook (5 mm).
