Classic cable sweater
A classic never goes out. Cable stitches are really out of time. If you’d like to make something classic, cables are a beautiful way to add texture and a classic look to your crochet projects. Our Grannies and our Moms wore such sweaters, I’m pretty sure our granddaughters will wear them as well.
When I was about to start designing this crochet pattern, I quickly realized I want to implement crochet cables to it. That is my version of the popular crochet cable sweater. There are plenty of them since many designers create such garments. The only thing I changed is a method of work: l made a top down raglan seamless crochet cable sweater. I adore top-down method as far as it means you can try your garment on and adjust as you work. The level of flexibility when working top down is immense.
I’m absolutely in love with the result. The sweater fits well and looks quite elegant. The crochet cables make this pattern really special and imagine using this cabled sweater together with your favorite jeans.
The pattern is written in American crochet terms and includes detailed instructions with a lot of photos in progress and diagrams.
