For some time I had been wanting to design a more classic style Christmas tree dishcloth but had not been able to figure out how to do so. At last!!

You will need almost a full 50 gr ball of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn to complete this dishcloth. It is a generous size … 9 3/4” square.

Knowing how to cast on and off as well as knit and purl stitches are the basic skills needed to make this cloth.

For best results knitting ‘picture’ dishcloths, use a size or two smaller needle than you usually would for the given yarn, choose a solid colour yarn and block your finished dishcloth.
