The convertible thrummed mittens were designed using the traditional aspects of the classic eastern Canadian mittens. The pattern uses 100% wool and roving but the colour choice is yours, making them fun and modern. Thrummed mittens are made using tiny rovings that are knit into the pattern creating little hearts throughout, while making an insulating layer on the inside. You will be working in the round with double pointed needles from the cuff up with two variations of mitten top options. Choose from the fingerless mitt option with open fingers and thumb OR go with the flip top mitten with a full thumb. Flip top mitten option has Right and Left hand instructions included. Please be sure to read through the entire pattern before casting on your mittens.
